Pay: £455-£480 per week

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

Are you a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant ready to make a real impact in KS2?

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Binley, Coventry is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team in September. This is a full-time, long-term position supporting Year 5 in the mornings and leading small intervention groups in Year 6 during the afternoons, focusing on Numeracy and Literacy.

About the Role:

This role is perfect for someone with a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and a desire to support pupils in achieving their full potential. You'll work closely with the class teachers and SEN staff to deliver tailored learning support, particularly for children with additional needs or those performing at a lower academic level.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide in-class support in Year 5 during morning sessions.
Lead small group interventions in Year 6 (afternoons) focusing on Literacy and Numeracy.
Adapt learning activities to support pupils with ASD, ADHD, and non-verbal needs
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and SENCO to monitor pupil progress.
Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement and confidence.

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year experience working in a school setting (preferably in KS2).
Understanding of the KS2 curriculum, particularly in English and Maths.
Experience supporting children with SEN (e.g. Autism, ADHD, non-verbal needs).
A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
