CNC / Manual Machinist required immediately for an engineering company based in Burton upon Trent.

The role will involve working on a variety of manual machines such as turning, milling and grinding. It will also include working on some CNC Machinery when required.

Your day to day will include:
• Setting, operating and programming machinery within the machine shop
• Using manual millers, turners, grinders and lathes.
• Working from engineering drawings.
• Assisting with machine fitting and assembly tasks.
• Using HAAS and Fanuc controls

What we a looking for is:

• A time served machinist
• An individual who is confident operating, setting and programming machines
• Someone with the ability to work with FANUC and HAAS controls
• Someone who is confident working from technical drawings

What’s in it for you?

Start as soon as possible
Day shifts: Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:00pm and Friday 7:30am – 1:00pm
Up to £20.00ph depending on experience
Temporary to permanent
Overtime paid at a premium
