Machine Operator with Counterbalance FLT
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands (B7)

Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time.

Machine Operator Pay: £12.50 Per Hour + Over-time Available when Permanent.

Machine Operator Shifts - Rotating Shifts - Days & Afternoons

Week 1 - Monday to Thursday 06:00 - 14:30. Friday 06:00 - 12:00
Week 2 - Monday to Thursday 14:00 - 22:30. Friday 12:00 - 18:00

Machine Operator Key Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to produce batch and bespoke parts.
• Load & Unload machines using the FLT.
• Utilise the COUNTERBALANCE Fork Lift Truck in order to continue production.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and targets.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with health and safety standards.

The successful candidate will have a Counterbalance FLT licence for this role. We can also accept an expired licence providing there is a copy of the certificate. (Refreshers Available)

What we’re looking For in a Machine Operator:

• Proven experience as a Machine Operator, preferably in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• An In-date Counterbalance FLT licence or a recently expired certificate (refreshers available in-house)
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A proactive attitude towards workplace safety and continuous improvement.
