About the role

Working in partnership with our NHS colleagues, you will play a key role in delivering Peer Support throughout local communities, enhancing mental health care across Primary and Secondary services

You will support people in both one‑to‑one and group settings, managing your own caseload to aid their recovery and help them access the services and resources they need.

You will support people to develop and use a range of skills and techniques that promote their wellbeing, providing short‑term goal‑focused support that empowers them to take control of their own recovery.

About you

You will bring your own lived experience of mental health challenges to support others on their recovery journey. You will have a good understanding of mental health services, as well as awareness of wider community groups and organisations.

Strong time‑management and teamwork skills are essential, along with confident, practical computer skills.
