An experienced Freelance Project Manager is required to deliver highways and road improvement schemes near Wakefield.
The role will involve full project delivery across live highway environments, working closely with local authority stakeholders and delivery teams.
Scope of Works

Managing roads and highways schemes from inception to completion
*
Programme management including reading, reviewing and maintaining construction programmes
*
Change management including variations, compensation events and scope changes
*
Delivering complex highway improvement works in live traffic environments
*
Managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
*
Liaison with local authority clients, engineers and stakeholders
*
Ensuring compliance with highway standards, permits and approvals
*
Managing RAMS, traffic management and HSEQ requirements
*
Progress reporting, cost control and handovers
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Project Manager on highways or roads schemes
*
Strong background in highways infrastructure
*
Experience working in live traffic environments
*
SMSTS

CSCS
*
First Aid (preferred)
