Your Role as a Physics Teacher

As a Physics Teacher at our state school, you will:

Teach Physics across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, including A-Level Physics for those with the relevant experience and interest.

Deliver dynamic and engaging lessons that foster curiosity and encourage students to develop a deep understanding of Physics.

*

Lead practical experiments that allow students to apply their theoretical knowledge and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

*

Collaborate with fellow teachers to ensure the Physics curriculum remains up-to-date, inclusive, and challenging for all students.

*

Provide guidance and academic support to help students reach their full potential in Physics and beyond.

Contribute to the extracurricular life of the school through activities such as science clubs, trips, and competitions that enhance students’ learning experiences.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for a Physics Teacher who:

*

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Physics or a closely related field.

*

Has experience teaching Physics at Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and ideally Key Stage 5 (A-Level), with a proven track record of student success.

*

Is passionate about Physics and is dedicated to inspiring students to develop a deep understanding of the subject.

*

Has excellent communication, organisational, and teaching skills, with the ability to engage students of varying abilities.

*

Is a reflective and proactive educator, open to feedback and committed to continuous professional development.

*

Is a team player who will contribute positively to the academic and cultural life of the school.
