People Business Partner / HR Advisor Required

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced People Business Partner / HR Advisor / Senior HR Advisor to join a rapidly growing organisation as they expand across the UK. With new satellite sites opening, they’re looking for someone who can bring consistency, culture, and clarity to their teams as the business scales.

What you’ll be doing

*

Act as the strategic and operational People lead / HR Business Partner for new and growing sites in Birmingham

*

Build trusted relationships with managers and site leaders, supporting workforce planning, team development, and succession

*

Embed culture and values into everything – from hiring and onboarding to performance and recognition

*

Provide expert guidance on employee relations, ensuring fair, consistent, and proactive solutions

*

Support the rollout of HR policies, people initiatives, and processes across regional teams

*

Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring and ensure new joiners feel part of the bigger picture from day one

*

Drive engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion initiatives that make people feel valued and heard

*

Use HR data and metrics to spot trends, influence decisions, and continuously improve

What they’re looking for

*

Proven experience as a People / HR Business Partner, HR Advisor, Senior HR Advisor, People Partner, or HR Generalist in a fast-paced, multi-site or project-based environment (construction, engineering, or renewables would be a bonus)

*

Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice

*

A natural ability to embed culture and values into everyday processes and behaviours

*

Strong reporting and analytical skills to drive insights and improvements

*

Experience of change and growth – whether site mobilisation, onboarding, or OD projects

*

Excellent influencing, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills

*

Comfortable working independently, while staying collaborative within a wider team

*

CIPD Level 5 (minimum) preferred; Level 7 desirable
