Senior Structural Engineer required by a well reputed design consultancy in London.
The practice is responsible for a diverse portfolio of contemporary structures including buildings, pavilions and large -scale artworks.
Across all projects there is a commitment to collaboration and engagement and an enthusiasm for beautiful architecture and design.
The role will give you the opportunity to be involved with the design of both permanent and temporary structures across the United Kingdom and internationally.

Responsibilities/skills:-
• Work collaboratively within the design office.
• Lead the delivery of projects from concept design to completion on site, and be responsible for
meeting project deadlines.
• Design of structural systems, production of structural information and monitoring of works on site.
• Manage the work of and act as a mentor to more junior engineers and Technicians.
• Represent Structure Workshop and communicate design work at external meetings, and manage
Client relationships.
• Project control and reporting with an understanding of the fee basis and scope of works.
• Maintain an understanding of company procedures and policy, and contribute to the technical and
professional standards across the practice.
• Be proactive in the management of risk on your projects
• Continue to develop technically and professionally (CPD).
• Take on responsibility for the day-to-day running of the office and contribute to a positive, diverse
and open practice culture.
Familiarity with the software packages used within the practice will also be an advantage (MS Office,Strand7, Vectorworks, Revit, Rhino3D and Grasshopper).
Annual subscriptions covering professional membership of an institution, as well as training fees connected
with CPD will be paid for by the company.
• First class or 2:1 degree in Engineering and Chartered with the IStructE.
• 5 + years relevant experience in a structural engineering consultancy.
• An ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Enthusiastic and technically proficient.
• Excellent software skills including experience in 3D modelling, FE analysis, and design.
