Internal Sales Executive
Location: Avonmouth, Bristol
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum + performance bonus
Hours: Full-time, permanent

The Role
We’re looking for a motivated and proactive Internal Sales Executive to join our Avonmouth team. This is a pivotal role supporting our nationwide network of Technical Managers (external sales team) to help achieve ambitious growth targets.

You’ll be responsible for identifying and securing qualified meetings within key market sectors—helping drive opportunity generation and revenue growth across the business.

Key Responsibilities

* Work collaboratively with the external sales team to understand target markets, key accounts, and growth objectives.

* Identify and engage potential clients through research, outbound calls, and digital channels.

* Book qualified meetings for the external sales team in line with agreed KPIs.

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, calls, and outcomes using CRM systems.

* Assist with pre-meeting preparation and client research.

* Support inbound enquiries and redirect technical queries to the appropriate contact.

* Provide regular reports on outreach activity, lead conversion, and pipeline performance.

* Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with regional and sector-specific growth plans.

Skills & Experience

* Proven experience in internal sales, telesales, or business development (construction or B2B background preferred).

* Confident communicator with strong telephone and written communication skills.

* Highly organised, target-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities.

* Proficient in using CRM systems for lead tracking and pipeline management.

* Team-oriented with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.

* Positive, energetic, and motivated to contribute to a high-performance culture.
