Senior Legal Secretary Responsibilities
Managing litigation files under lawyer supervision, covering property, contractual, employment and commercial disputes
Conducting telephone and face-to-face client meetings, chasing instructions, gathering documents and providing case updates
Establishing new cases and preparing client care letters
Sourcing experts and counsel, checking availability, arranging site meetings and conferences
Dealing with queries from experts and counsel where appropriate
Preparing routine letters and documents
Managing mediation, disclosure and court hearing bundles
Using software systems for digital dictation
Senior Legal Secretary Requirements
Experience in a legal support role, ideally within litigation or civil law
Knowledge of litigation procedures, court processes, and legal terminology
Experience in legal document preparation and court bundle compilation
Strong technical skills including MS Office Suite, legal case management systems, billing software, and digital dictation
Excellent communication abilities
Exceptional organisational skills
