Performing heavy mechanical repairs, including engine rebuilds, gearbox removals, and component replacements.
Carrying out bodywork restoration, panel fitting, and paint preparation as part of vehicle refurbishment.
Supporting classic car restorations with a focus on authentic repairs and attention to detail
Working on both mechanical systems and body repairs to ensure a complete restoration process
Assisting in diagnosing and resolving mechanical and bodywork issues throughout restoration projects
Collaborating closely with team members to meet project milestones and quality standards.Requirements for the Restoration Mechanic role:

Proven experience working on classic or vintage cars, with a mixture of mechanical and bodywork skills
Strong mechanical skills, including engine and gearbox repairs, mechanical troubleshooting
Experience in bodywork restoration, panel fitting, or paint preparation is highly desirable
Meticulous attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
A flexible approach to project work, combining mechanical repairs with body restoration tasks
NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
Reliable and team-oriented attitude with a passion for classic car restoration
