Duties

* Perform TIG welding on various materials, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.

* Fabricate metal components by interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

* Assemble parts using welding techniques, ensuring structural integrity and quality.

* Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal pieces.

* Conduct regular inspections of welded joints to ensure compliance with safety standards.

* Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.

Experience

* Proven experience in welding, particularly with TIG techniques.

* Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication is highly desirable.

* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools safely.

* Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.

* Experience with stick welding is an advantage but not essential.

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
