Are you a passionate and dedicated English teacher looking for an exciting new role in Rochdale? We are seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school team from September.
About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5
Develop and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum to promote student progress and achievement
Support students to develop key literacy skills and a love of reading and writing
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and challenged
Contribute to departmental initiatives and extracurricular activities
Who We Are Looking For:
Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge and passion for English literature and language
Experience teaching at secondary level preferred but early career teachers are welcome to apply
Commitment to raising standards and improving student outcomes
Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills
A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
