Your Role at a Glance

As a Reception Teacher, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the early educational journey of children aged 4–5. Your mission: to deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that support holistic development and lay the foundations for lifelong success.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver exciting, imaginative lessons aligned with the EYFS framework

Foster a safe, supportive, and interactive classroom where confidence and independence can flourish

Assess and monitor pupil progress, using insights to inform and adapt your teaching

Collaborate with colleagues, families, and support staff to create a strong, supportive learning community

Create a nurturing environment where every child feels seen, heard, and valued

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a passionate and committed teacher who brings energy, creativity, and compassion into the classroom.

You’ll need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience working within an EYFS or Reception classroom

A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and principles of child development

Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills

A genuine love for early years teaching and the ability to inspire young learners every day
