GSL Education are seeking a Psychology Graduate to join a dynamic SEMH provision catering to learners of all ages in Lincoln. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about mental health, behaviour, and inclusive education—whether you're considering a career in educational psychology, counselling, or teaching.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and group support to students with SEMH needs.
Assist in delivering tailored strategies to support emotional regulation and learning.
Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, helping them re-engage with education.
Work alongside teaching and pastoral staff to maintain a calm and safe environment.
Support the delivery of academic and therapeutic interventions.
What You Need:
A degree in Psychology or a related field.
A strong interest in mental health, behaviour, and inclusive education.
Resilience, empathy, and adaptability to meet challenging behaviours positively.
Experience working with young people in any capacity (school, youth work, care) is a plus.
A current, up-to-date CV (covering the last 10 years with no unexplained gaps).
An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
