Multi‐Skilled Maintenance Technician - Electrically Bias

Salary: £25000 - £32000

Location: Wolverhampton 

Overview:

Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician, focusing on electrical maintenance within Radiology and ensuring the upkeep of our facility. You'll play a vital role in planned maintenance, reactive tasks, and supporting building lifecycle activities. We're seeking a proactive individual dedicated to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

Perform planned maintenance tasks efficiently, minimizing downtime.
Coordinate with contractors and ensure their work meets quality standards.
Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests, prioritizing as per service level agreements.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any observations to management.
Participate in an on-call rotation and contribute to proactive maintenance efforts.
Manage stock levels and obtain necessary quotes for spare parts.

Requirements:

Electrical competence with proven facilities maintenance experience.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated with excellent organizational abilities.
Effective communication skills across all levels.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Familiarity with Health and Safety regulations and Building Management Systems is advantageous.

Qualifications:

Formal engineering qualification or recognized apprenticeship preferred.
City & Guilds qualification desirable.

Experience:

Previous experience in facilities maintenance, ideally in a healthcare environment.
Practical knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.
Exposure to Building Management Systems, fire alarms, and access control systems preferred.

Language:

Proficiency in English required.

Other Details:

Site-based role with no international travel.
Compliance with Quality Assurance and Environmental Health & Safety policies is essential.
