This is a hands-on Hardware Design Engineer role where your designs don’t sit on a shelf - they’re built, tested and relied on in high-pressure, real-world environments. What you’ll be getting stuck into as a Hardware Design Engineer
Designing, reviewing and maintaining schematics for a wide range of electronic products
Diagnosing and resolving hardware faults from returned units and production builds
Supporting production teams with PCB redesigns, issue resolution and technical queries
Testing products to ensure correct functionality, radio connectivity and compliance
Contributing to new product development and future technology initiatives
Providing technical support across departments when complex issues arise
What you’ll bring to the table as a Hardware Design Engineer
Previous experience in electronics design, fault diagnosis and component-level repair
Strong PCB design and layout capability, taking designs through to full assembly
Mandatory experience using KiCAD, with exposure to legacy Altium conversions
Confident use of test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters and signal generators
Experience working with issue tracking tools such as Jira and documentation systems
