We are recruiting an experienced CNC Turner for a manufacturing company based in Hemel Hempstead. They produce high precision components for the aerospace industry with repeat and prototype work. Responsibilities Include

Program, set, and operate Takisawa CNC Lathes and CMZ Mill/Turn machines to produce components to customer specifications using Fanuc control (G & M codes), FAPT and Manual Guide-I.

Work with typical tolerances of +/- .001" (0.025mm) and occasionally +/- .0005" (0.0125mm).

Accurately record job timings within the company's ERP system, Javelin, including scanning on and off jobs.

Maintain 6s standards on the shop floor.

Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance processes through minor tweaks or complete re-engineering.

Experience and Skill Required

Previous aerospace or similar industry experience is required.

Experience in programming Fanuc control machinery (G & M codes), FAPT and Manual Guide-I.

Edgecam experience preferred.

Experience working with various materials such as Stainless Steel, Nylon, Titanium, Inconel, and Aluminium, maintaining typical tolerances of +/- .001" (0.025mm) and occasionally +/- .0005" (0.0125mm).

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm, Friday 8am-4pm

Overtime available

Pay Rate - £20-21 per hour
