We are currently collaborating with a well-established Cambridgeshire-based manufacturer with over two decades of industry experience in the supply of products to the consumer and B2B construction market, as they seek a trainee for their sales team.

This is a fantastic opportunity as you will be coached to be a success in this field, giving you both the tools for a career in sales, and internal promotion opportunities based on your performance.

Responsibilities:

Proactively reach out to existing customers to upsell, cross-sell
Support and maintain a strong sales pipeline from enquiry to order
Keep customer data up to date in a CRM
Work with Marketing to share promotional materials and campaigns
Cover and support regional sales teams as needed
Share insights and opportunities with the wider sales team to drive growthThe ideal candidate will have a strong telephone presence and the ability to multi-task, high attention to details, and the ability to prioritise and manage your time effectively. Due to the location of the Bedfordshire-based office, this role will be commutable from either Cambridge, Ely, Downham Market, Chatteris, Newmarket, Littleport, Bury St Edmunds and Thetford.
