As a Waking Night Support Worker in a residential children's service, you will provide essential support during the night, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for the young residents.

This permanent, full-time role offers a rewarding experience.

Successful candidate will:
1. Ensure the safety and well-being of children throughout the night.
2. Provide emotional support and reassurance to children as needed.
3. Monitor and respond to any incidents or emergencies.
4. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
5. Assist with bedtime routines and morning preparations.
6. Collaborate with daytime staff to ensure continuity of care.

Desirable Experience:
1. Previous experience in a similar role within a residential children's service.
2. Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
5. Experience in working with children with diverse needs and backgrounds.
6. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
