TP Tutors are looking for passionate, dedicated and nurturing education professionals to tutor KS3 learners on a 1:1 basis, in Corringham (Essex) and surrounding areas.

We support the most vulnerable young people in Essex, by delivering bespoke tuition tailored towards their SEN and SEMH needs and interests.

As a tutor you will need to:

Plan tuition sessions, resources and deliver tuition sessions
Travel to learners’ homes, local libraries or schools to deliver tuition in person
Foster a positive and safe learning environment, to ensure learners feel comfortable
Use Ed Place Assessments, provided by us, to generate baseline assessments and assess learner’s progress
Complete daily tuition reports to record sessions and monitor attendance
Be consistent and dedicated when working with young people, and maintain the highest level of communication
You need:

At least 2 years’ of UK teaching or tutoring experience
Previous experience working with SEN and/or SEMH students
To be able to confidently plan session and create resources by yourself, for every single lesson and learner
A genuine passion for supporting young people
An Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
