In House Solicitor (Corporate)
Location:  Chester – UK Head Office
Company: Bluestones Investment Group

Hours: 2 or 3 days per week

Salary: FTE £50-£60k depending on experience

The Company

Bluestones is an investment company operating across the recruitment industry and children's residential care. Based at the company’s head office in Chester the successful candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, specifically with acquisitions and shareholders agreements.

The Role

This role offers the opportunity to work directly on corporate acquisitions, providing strategic legal advice. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising on a variety of corporate matters, supporting ongoing growth initiatives, dispute resolution, contract reviews and corporate compliance.  Commercial awareness and attention to detail are essential.

You will be joining a fast-paced, dynamic organisation during an exciting period of growth,  reporting to the Legal & HR Director (a solicitor) and working closely with the Group CEO.

Requirements:

1.      Qualified solicitor with at least four years’ PQE in corporate law

2.      Expertise in acquisitions (drafting, negotiation and due diligence work) is essential

3.      Commercial approach with ability to apply technical legal points to practical situations

4.      Excellent communicator.

5.      Ability to work in and adapt to a fast paced environment.
