We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join a Tier 1 Main Contractor on a major ongoing project in West Mids.

This is a site-based role offering long-term contract potential on a high-value scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Commercial management of a live construction project

*

Cost control, forecasting and reporting

*

Procurement and subcontractor management

*

Valuations, variations and final accounts

*

Supporting project delivery from a commercial perspective

Candidate Requirements:

*

Background with Tier 1 or Tier 2 Main Contractors

*

Experience working on £20m+ project values

*

Strong site-based commercial experience

*

Pre-construction exposure including:

*

2-stage tenders

*

Pricing and cost planning prior to site start (distinct advantage)

*

Excellent communication and commercial awareness
