What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications & Development

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field

Experience

*

Minimum 1 year in a similar role or relevant environment

*

Confident in communicating with a diverse range of people

*

Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams and liaising with external agencies

Knowledge

*

Strong understanding of child development and parenting needs

*

Familiarity with attachment theories, particularly regarding children in care

*

Sound knowledge of confidentiality, data protection, and electronic data systems

Skills & Abilities

*

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

*

Solution-focused and calm under pressure

*

Ability to use various intervention techniques with families and children

*

Strong report-writing skills, capable of handling and interpreting complex information

*

Highly organised with strong time management and prioritisation skills
