Senior Control Engineer - Software Bias | Nuclear
£51-55ph (Outside IR35)
Hybrid - 3 Days Warrington Office / 2 Days Remote
We're recruiting for a Senior Control Engineer to join a major nuclear project based in Warrington, supporting the SEP1 & 2 programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to one of the UK's flagship Sellafield projects, working on complex, safety-critical control systems in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
What you'll be doing:
Delivering, co-ordinating, and checking control-based work packages across multiple systems.
Leading and guiding engineers to achieve demanding technical milestones (no line management responsibility).
Developing design specifications and providing expert support during implementation.
Reviewing and challenging control system requirements to ensure robust, compliant designs.
Collaborating with system integrators, commissioning teams, and other key stakeholders.What we're looking for:
Proven experience in PLC/SCADA control systems and network architecture.
A strong software engineering bias, ideally with nuclear sector experience - Sellafield experience is highly desirable.
Capable of prioritising workloads in a dynamic project environment.
Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
CEng/IEng status or equivalent experience would be advantageous.Why join:
