Description

Coordinate and improve logistics operations to meet business objectives.
Oversee and coordinate daily logistics activities with the new Third-Party Warehouse 3PL such as goods-in, storage, stock control, and dispatch.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards in logistics practices.
Manage the flow of goods and materials across the supply chain.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance ways of working with the internal 3PL.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth material flow.
Implement cost-effective strategies for transportation and distribution.
Monitor and analyse logistics performance to identify areas for improvement.
Support the implementation of new processes to improve logistics performance.
Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports on logistics activities.Profile

A successful Logistics Specialist should have:

Proven expertise in logistics within the manufacturing sector.
Strong understanding of logistics compliance, trade regulations, and customs requirements.
Previous exposure to 3PL processes.
Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
Experience in implementing logistics strategies to improve efficiency.
Familiarity with relevant regulatory and safety standards.
