Key Responsibilities:

Design and generate connector and cable assembly drawings and parts lists to BS8888
Create detailed product drawings for subcontracted manufacture
Update and re-issue drawings as design changes occur
Support the Technical Manager with product concepts, custom solutions, and special projects
Assist with technical specifications, datasheets, and proposal drawings
Respond to technical queries internally and externally (post-training)
Provide 3D CAD models and support customer requests
Liaise with production to determine tooling needs and design jigs and tools as required
Contribute to creating work instructions and testing protocols
Offer engineering support across departments, including QA and the shop floor
