Practice Manager

Location: Solihull, West Midlands

Salary: up to £50,000 + Benefits

Working as part of the team at an Appointed Representative of St. James’s Place Plc.

An outstanding new opportunity has arisen for a Practice Manager within a highly successful SJP Managing Partner Practice. You will be managing the operational needs of this busy practice which supports 5 Financial Advisors and 8 support staff.

The Role: Practice Manager

* Managing the workflow and performance of staff, ensuring they deliver excellent customer service outcomes and meet their targets

* Recruiting, training, and developing new and existing staff, providing them with feedback and coaching

* Solving any problems or issues that arise within the practice, liaising with clients, third parties and other stakeholders as needed

* Ensuring compliance is followed with all internal/external regulations and policies, maintaining accurate records and documentation

* Developing and implementing strategic plans for the growth and improvement of the practice, aligning them with the firm's vision and goals

The Person: Practice Manager

*

* A track record as a manager, in an operational office-based environment. Ideally this would be in a Financial Services business, but this is not essential

* Excellent people management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others

* Experience of managing and developing others and will be able to demonstrate this at interview

* Strong workflow management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively

* Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle complex and challenging situations. You have common sense and influencing skills

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and staff

* A high level of professionalism, integrity, and ethics, with a commitment to quality and excellence

* A good understanding of how you can add value to this business

* Some HR experience
