Pay Rate: £15.90 per hour
Hours: 6:00am start - job finish (rotational shifts including weekends)
Contract: Temporary Ongoing (Potential for Permanent Employment after 12 weeks)
Location: Swindon & Patchway-based

About the Role

We're currently seeking 7.5 Tonne Home Delivery Drivers to work for a leading retail business, delivering a range of household goods from depots in Swindon and Patchway.

You'll be working with a Drivers Mate, delivering items such as TVs, flat-pack furniture, and white goods directly to customers' homes. This is a customer-facing role that involves manual handling and heavy lifting.

The role includes providing a "room of choice" delivery service, ensuring items are handled safely and professionally. Full training is provided before you start.

New drivers will complete a driving assessment, a short Highway Code/Tachograph test, and a one-day induction prior to starting work.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver a variety of goods to customers' homes with a Drivers Mate
* Provide professional, courteous customer service at every stop
* Carry out heavy lifting and handle goods with care
* Complete all delivery paperwork accurately
* Follow all company safety and driving procedures
* Represent the business positively on every shiftRequirements

Valid UK 7.5 Tonne (C1) Licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Maximum of 6 penalty points (No DD, DR, or IN convictions)
* Physically fit and reliable
