Phoenix Solutions and Consulting are supporting a well established commercial vehicle workshop in Witham who are looking to add an HGV Shift Supervisor to their team.

This is a hands on, semi productive role, ideal for a senior HGV Technician ready to step up, or an existing Supervisor looking for a stable long term position.

The role

Supervising a shift of HGV Technicians

*

Issuing work and providing technical support

*

MOT preparation, servicing, diagnostics and repairs

*

Managing workflow and productivity

*

Maintaining high quality and safety standards

*

Dealing with customers professionally

*

Ensuring good housekeeping and health and safety compliance

What we are looking for

*

Experience as an HGV or Commercial Vehicle Technician

*

Up to date technical knowledge

*

Supervisory or senior technician experience preferred

*

Relevant motor vehicle qualification

*

Confident communicator with leadership ability

*

HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence essential

Hours

42.5 hours per week
Early shift Monday to Friday 6.00am to 3.00pm
Late shift Monday to Friday 2.00pm to 11.00pm
Alternate Saturday mornings paid at time and a half
