Driver – Materials & Equipment Delivery

£27000 per annum + van and fuel card

Mon-Fri 8-5, (1hr for lunch)

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Driver on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing company in the construction sector. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills and a proactive approach to supporting on-site teams by delivering and collecting essential equipment and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely deliver and collect tools, materials, and equipment to/from various project sites

Plan efficient routes to meet project deadlines

Carry out basic equipment inspections and arrange repairs or disposals

Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections

Keep the yard and stores area clean, organized, and well-maintained

Attend site meetings to support smooth project delivery

Comply with company Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental procedures

Requirements:

Full UK manual driving licence (essential)

Strong face-to-face customer service skills

Confident communicator – verbal and written

Excellent timekeeping and organisation

Basic IT skills

Must be eligible to work in the UK

Willing to undergo a DBS check (paid for by the company)
