Are you an experienced Quality Engineer, who is looking to work in a fast-paced, global, market-leading company?

Here at Innovative Technology, we have a great opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join our office-based team in Oldham, Greater Manchester.

The Quality Engineer role overview:

The purpose of the role is to support the business drive towards achieving zero production product quality issues and zero customer complaints for production quality issues

Your Role as a Quality Engineer:

Investigate and analyse product non-conformance data and drive problem-solving activities with the Production, Production Engineering, and CI departments.

Record and manage Customer Complaints, liaising with relevant departments to determine the root cause of issues

Manage corrective and preventative actions with stakeholders across the business

Support our Global sites with production quality issues to ensure preventative actions are implemented

Conduct Internal Audits against the requirements of ISO9001

Manage actions from Internal Audit findings ensuring closure in the required timeframe

Develop and maintain Product D/PFMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP documentation

Verify 1st off tool components against drawings and specifications (FAIR / ISIR)

Support the business with measuring and verifying component dimensions to support product issue preventative actions

Work with suppliers to ensure the continuous supply of conforming parts through review of submitted SPC/ Control charts

Analyse production output and identify opportunities for improvement

Facilitating quality improvement project meetings

Produce reports relating to Quality Control activities for the management team

Essential Skills & Experience:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Quality Engineering role

Proven experience conducting Internal Audits (ISO9001)

High proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings

Analysing outputs from inspection and creating reports on findings

Intermediate experience with Office 365 applications
