Job Title: Auxiliary Plant Operative

Location: Ardley

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday shift pattern (including nights)

Salary: £36,030 per year (plus shift allowance and annual bonus)

Job Overview

An exciting opportunity is available for an Auxiliary Plant Operative (APO) to support operational activities within the boiler house and turbine hall. The successful candidate will ensure all tasks are carried out safely, professionally, economically, and efficiently, aligning with company policies and procedures.

Under the direction of the Shift Team Leader, the APO will help manage the day-to-day running of the plant, focusing on maximising plant availability and ensuring compliance with all company standards and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out operational activities within the boiler house and turbine hall.

Monitor machinery performance using sensory skills to detect irregularities.

Support the Shift Team with plant operations while maintaining company standards.

Ensure all tasks align with safety and legal compliance requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

Understanding of process or factory machinery.

Ability to use sensory skills to monitor equipment functionality.

Previous experience in a process, production, or manufacturing environment.

Track record of high performance in a similar industry.
