? The Role

A well-established accountancy practice is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Senior to join their growing team following a recent resignation. You’ll take ownership of multiple client payrolls, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service delivery.

⚡ Key Responsibilities

Manage and process multiple end-to-end client payrolls.

Ensure compliance with legislation and company policies.

Liaise with clients on pay, deductions, HMRC liabilities, and reporting.

Perform manual calculations and assist with onboarding of new clients.

Contribute to process improvements within the payroll function.

? Ideal Candidate

2–3 years’ experience within an accountancy practice.

Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation.

Experience with Star Payroll (IPP) advantageous.

High attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Proactive, organised, and able to manage competing deadlines.
