Job Opportunity: ICT & Computer Science Teacher (Secondary)
Location: Coventry

Contract: Full-Time | Full Academic Year
Pay Rate: £180 – £230 per day (dependent on experience)

A secondary school in Coventry is seeking a passionate and dedicated ICT and Computer Science Teacher to join their team immediately. This is a full-time position covering the full academic year, with the potential for extension or a permanent role.

About the Role:

Deliver engaging and high-quality ICT and Computer Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students

Develop and implement lesson plans in line with the national curriculum

Monitor, assess, and report on student progress

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Support students in developing digital literacy and problem-solving skills

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification

Experience teaching ICT and Computer Science at secondary level

Strong classroom management skills

Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks

A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to teaching

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Cover Teacher- Various Subjects you will:

UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Recent experience teaching in a UK classroom
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A positive and flexible attitude to working in different school settings
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one through ABC Teachers)

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
