DT Technician – Solihull

We are currently seeking a qualified Design & Technology Technician to work in a secondary school in Solihull, starting after February half term.

The role:

Supporting the DT department across workshops and practical lessons

Preparing materials, tools, and equipment for lessons

Maintaining machinery and ensuring a safe working environment

Supporting staff and students during practical activities

Requirements:

Fully qualified DT Technician

Workshop qualified (Secondary Core Level Health & Safety)

DATA (Design and Technology Association) certification for workshop machines – essential

Strong understanding of workshop safety procedures and risk assessments
