Private Client Paralegal
Location: Harrogate
Position: Full-time, office-based
Salary: £26,000-£28,000

A well-established and respected law firm in Harrogate is seeking a Private Client Paralegal to join its busy and supportive Private Client team on a full-time, in-person basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with private client experience who is looking to develop their career within a high-quality and client-focused environment.

The Role

You will support fee earners across a broad range of private client matters, including:

Assisting with the drafting of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney

Supporting probate and estate administration files

Preparing documentation and correspondence

Liaising with clients in a professional and empathetic manner

Dealing with third parties such as HMRC, the Land Registry and financial institutions

Maintaining accurate case files and using case management systems

General administrative support to the Private Client team

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience as a Private Client Paralegal or Legal Assistant

Good understanding of Wills, Probate and Private Client procedures

Strong organisational and time-management skills

Excellent attention to detail

Confident written and verbal communication skills

Comfortable working in a busy, office-based environment

Able to work well as part of a team and use initiative when required

Strong IT skills, including experience with case management systems
