We’re on the lookout for a talented CNC Turner to join a growing team. You'll be at the heart of creating precision components, setting up and operating CNC machines, prepping new products, maintaining tools, and keeping everything on track to meet deadlines. Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire

Hours: Monday – Thursday 7am – 5pm (4 day working week)

Hourly Rate: £18.00 - £22.00 PH DOE

Benefits: 25 days holiday including bank holidays, on-site parking, small, friendly team, overtime available.

Duration: Permanent

Duties to Include:

* Program, set and operate the CNC Machines including Manual Lathe’s to which you are assigned to - Main machines include Haas and Bridgeport.

* Run production jobs on the CNC machines.

* Carry out inspections on completed batches

* Ensure parts are manufactured correctly and to the drawings

* Meeting tight deadlines.

Skills/Experience Required:

* Experience of using Heidenhain controls and or Haas controls

* Experience with Mastercam Software and One CNC

* Be keen to contribute to the expansion and development of the machine shop.

* Good communication skills

* Strong personal motivation and commitment

* Used to working to tight deadlines

* Good communication and ability to work as part of a small team.
