Job Title: Day-to-Day Teaching Assistant (Level 2 Qualified)
Pay Rate: £90 – £95 per day
Location: Birmingham (Sutton Coldfield)
Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm
Smart Education is currently recruiting for Level 2 Qualified Teaching Assistants to provide day-to-day absence cover at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Primary School in Sutton Coldfield.
This is a warm and welcoming SEN school committed to supporting children with a wide range of complex needs. The school caters for pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), as well as children facing visual and hearing impairments, and those with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.

What we’re looking for:
A Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning (or equivalent)
Experience supporting children or young people in an educational or care setting
A calm, adaptable, and nurturing approach – especially in a SEN environment
Reliability and resilience – you’ll play an essential role in maintaining consistency and care
Confidence in supporting pupils with complex needs, including personal care if required
