We are looking for an experienced Learning Coach for a full-time position at a SEND college in the Birmingham area, where you will be working with an individual student with ASD, Moderate and Severe learning needs.
To be considered, you should have prior experience as a Learning Coach, working with SEND Students and strong understanding of the SEND school curriculum, and a compassionate, nurturing approach to your work.
You must be experienced as a Learning Coach working within college settings
Have an excellent knowledge of the UK SEND school system
Have experience working with SEND, particularly at FE level, or post 16
Ideally have worked for at least 12 months within Special Needs
Safeguarding level 1 trained

The school supports young adults with additional learning needs. As such, a solid background in working within a SEND environment is essential, along with the ability to support an individual to a high standard.
The school looks after students above 16 years of age, up to 25. Your duties will include offering tailored support on a one-on-one basis to a student with learning difficulties.
