Job Title: Approved Electrician

Salary: £38k-£60kpa

Location: Derby
Hours: Monday to Friday, minimum -37.5 hours per week (site working hours vary)
Rate of Pay: £19.32 per hour (starting rate, JIB standard)

NuTrade recruitment are working with an electrical contractor who are looking to add an “Approved electrician” to their team.

This role involves site-based work with overtime, night shifts, and weekend work opportunities available.

What We Offer:

* Pay: £19.32 per hour as standard (JIB rate)- Increased depending on experience

* Overtime rates:

* Saturdays – Time & a half (AM), Double time (PM).

* Sundays – Double time all day.

* Nights – Time and a third (Mon–Thurs).

* Paid travel time to and from site

* Holidays: 24 days plus bank holidays

* Pension scheme: Auto-enrolment after 12 weeks

* Company van

* Full PPE provided

* Tool security: Vans equipped with steel tool site box.

* Meal allowance: £20 per night (Mon–Thurs) when working away.

* Training & development: Ongoing opportunities, including those offered by the Electrical Contractors Association (ECA).

Role Requirements:

* Gold JIB Card

* Experience working on-site in various environments.

* Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and occasional nights when required.

* Commitment to health & safety standards.

* Full UK driving licence

* Weekend and night work as required (paid at enhanced rates).
