I am currently working with one of my local authority clients who are looking to bring on board an Interim Repairs & Maintenance Lead, a senior operational manager responsible for overseeing four core housing maintenance workstreams: voids, disrepair, damp and mould, and day-to-day responsive repairs.

The postholder drives performance, budget control, contractor management, and service quality across all four areas, ensuring statutory compliance (including health and safety and asbestos regulations) while delivering a customer-focused service. They manage complex cases, resolve escalated complaints, monitor KPIs, and use data to inform future investment and service improvements.

This would be paid on a daily rate of £(Apply online only) per day and the client would be looking to bring them on board for 6 months (with a strong likelihood of extension).
