We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Management Accounts Trainee to join our growing Outsourced Accounts team. In this role, you will assist in managing the day-to-day accounting and finance needs for a variety of clients, helping to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
About the role:
* Accurate weekly/monthly data entry to support real-time accounting
* Supporting the preparation of management accounts
* Balancing and maintaining ledgers with precision
* Processing monthly financial data in a timely and organised manner
* Collaborating with other departments to deliver seamless service
* Investigating and following up on client information in line with Service Level Agreements
* Identifying and escalating any discrepancies or anomalies in financial data
* Maintaining consistent communication with clients to meet record-keeping deadlines
* Ensuring all software entries are accurate and well-documented
* Attending college regularly and engaging fully with your study programme
About you:
You’ll be an enthusiastic and committed individual who is keen to continue to develop a career in accountancy. You should have a strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills.
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has achieved AAT Level 2 or 3
* Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Communicates clearly and professionally, both with colleagues and clients
* Is able to work both independently and as part of a team
* Can manage deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively
* Is committed to personal development and exam success through regular college attendance, whilst continuing to study for their AAT qualification and beyond
