CareerMakers are currently looking for a Piping Commissioning Engineer to join our client in the Deeside, CH5 area.

Start Date: Immediately

Hours of Work: Monday-Friday 07:00am-17:30pm

Responsibilities:

* Verify correct installation of all pipework, supports, and routing as per design specifications

* Read, interpret, and work from P&ID, isometric, and general arrangement drawings

* Monitor commissioning progress and report updates or delays to site management

* Communicate effectively with construction, QA/QC, and commissioning teams to resolve

* technical issues

* Perform detailed inspections of piping systems to ensure compliance with project standards

* Identify and record any non-conformances or outstanding works through structured punch list processes

* Liaise with welding inspectors and support quality assurance in line with industry codes and procedures

* Support pressure testing, flushing, and final system handover activities

* Maintain accurate documentation throughout the commissioning process

Requirements:

* Strong experience in piping commissioning

* Strong communication skills and attention to detail

* Ability to work independently and as part of team

* Valid CSCS and relevant qualifications

* References from previous works
