SEN Teacher - Luton
Full-Time | September Start | Long-Term to Permanent Opportunity
Are you a compassionate and committed teacher with a passion for SEN? A supportive school in Luton is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join their team from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a setting that truly values inclusive education, with a strong focus on supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and a range of complex needs.
Key Details:
Location: Luton
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (potential to go permanent)
Pay: £150 - £200/day (depending on experience)
The Role:
Plan and deliver personalised lessons to small groups and 1:1
Support students aged 11-16 with a range of SEN profiles
Collaborate closely with TAs, SENCOs, and external professionals
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
What We're Looking For:
QTS/QTLS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
Experience teaching pupils with special educational needs
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
A calm, resilient and flexible approach
Desirable:
PRU, SEMH or specialist setting experience
Knowledge of EHCPs, ASD strategies, or trauma-informed practice
Additional training (e.g. Team Teach, MAPA)
