We are seeking an inspiring practitioner to join a thriving secondary academy in Trafford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled teacher who loves bringing science to life and wants to make a real impact from January 2026 to July 2026.

The Role

We are looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging Key Stage 3 Science across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
This is a four-day-a-week role (Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-3:30pm).

You will:

Teach dynamic, practical science lessons that spark curiosity and deepen understanding
Demonstrate confident, positive classroom management with a strong focus on Assessment for Learning
Adapt your teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners and maintain high levels of engagement
Contribute to a passionate science department that values creativity, innovation and student progressThe school welcomes applications from ECTs, experienced QTS teachers, and FE lecturers with recent KS3 science experience.

Hold QTS or QTLS
Pass an Enhanced DBS check and provide suitable references
