Location: Medway, Kent
Salary: £120 - £250 per day (Depending on experience)
Commencement: September 2025 – Christmas 2025
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Role Overview:
As a DT Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging and practical lessons that encourage students to think critically and creatively. You will work alongside a supportive team of educators to foster a love for design and innovation in a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities of Design and Technology (DT) Teacher:
Plan and deliver high-quality DT lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
Teach students, covering areas such as product design, resistant materials, and engineering principles.
Encourage students to develop practical skills through hands-on projects and real-world problem-solving.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies as needed.
Promote a safe working environment, ensuring students understand and follow health and safety procedures.
Support extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities related to design and technology.
Essential Qualifications for Design and Technology (DT) Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Career Teacher (ECT), or equivalent certification.
Overseas qualifications are welcome.
Experienced Teaching Assistants (TA) and Cover Supervisors (CS) with relevant DT experience are also encouraged to apply.
A ten-year career history with references covering the last two years, including your most recent academic employment.
Experience in teaching DT is essential.
Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
A commitment to fostering creativity, innovation, and a love for learning.
