Forklift Driver / Storeman needed ASAP Fareham

This is a skilled, long term role , mixing a storeman position with a forklift driver role and therefore we're looking for the right candidate

We are looking for someone with a Forklift NPORS or CPCS CSCS broad knowledge of building site equipment (tools & materials) that can be entrusted to correctly arrange a storeroom, ensuring all tools and materials are stored safely and efficiently. In this role, you will also be expected to help out around the site when needed, performing general Forklift tasks.

Requirements

* CSCS card

* Proven experience working as a storeman on large scale construction sites

* Broad knowledge of site related tools/equipment/materials

* Full Clean UK Drivers License (Will be given responsibility to drive a company vehicle from time to time)

* Tidy in nature

* Strong work ethic

* Storeman experience

* CSCS, NPORS or CPCS

* Availability to get to site

* PPE

* Fork experience

* Fork lift ticket

Forklift duties
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Telehandler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating telehandlers to move materials and equipment on construction sites or warehouses. This role requires a strong understanding of machinery and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

* Operate telehandlers safely and efficiently to transport materials and equipment.

* Load and unload materials from lorries and storage areas.

* Dig and prepare sites as required, ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with safety regulations.

* Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of the telehandler to ensure optimal performance.

* Collaborate with team members to coordinate material handling tasks effectively.

* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards.

Skills

* Proficient in commercial driving, with a valid driving licence for operating heavy machinery.

* Strong mechanical knowledge, enabling troubleshooting and basic repairs of equipment.

* Ability to dig and prepare sites as needed, demonstrating versatility in job functions.

* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well within a team.

* Strong attention to detail, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and safely.
