Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Contract Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a proactive, technically skilled engineer who can deliver high-quality maintenance support in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance on production machinery and site equipment

Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime

Ensure all work is carried out in line with safety standards and compliance regulations

Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to equipment reliability

Work collaboratively with the engineering and operations teams

Requirements:

Proven experience in electrical maintenance within manufacturing, industrial, or similar environments

Strong knowledge of PLCs, control systems, motors, sensors, and industrial electrical systems

Recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Contract Details:

Competitive hourly/daily rate

Initial contract term with potential extension

Shift pattern or working hours depending on site requirements

Immediate or short-notice start preferred
