Field Service Engineer - Precision Measurement Equipment

This independent, field-based role supports a national service team and is coordinated from a central service centre. The position involves the installation, servicing, repair, and calibration of precision measuring equipment at customer sites.

Location:
Primarily covering the Midlands region, with occasional travel to other areas and potential overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

Install precision measuring equipment at customer locations
Perform service and calibration tasks
Diagnose and resolve technical issues

Essential Requirements

Minimum of HNC/BTEC or equivalent in an engineering discipline, or relevant industry experience
Strong communication and organisational skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient IT skills
Full, valid driving licence

Desirable Attributes

Experience in fault-finding on mechanical/electrical systems
Effective time management
